I was burned out from BYU and in desperate need of a change of scenery. I couldn't have found a better place to work than the Scottish Parliament.
Eager to finish my education at BYU, I’d spent the last year with a completely full schedule Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer semesters non-stop. I’d also been working part-time at the Missionary Training Center as a Spanish teacher to make ends meet. I found a great position working for Dr. Bill Wilson, Member of the Scottish Parliament through Professor Danny Damron at BYU. This was just what the doctor ordered for me, and my time working with Bill Wilson and Eric Swanepoel provided everything that I needed to formulate theories that would eventually become the subject of my Honors Thesis at BYU.
